    As the rust colored doors swung open there was a sharp chemical waft and dozens of white metal barrels appear in the cargo container as sunlight spills in. David Clark places his gloved hands on a barrel and peers inside.     The sound of the bodhran drum resonates off the buildings down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan Mar. 17th. The sweet wail of the bagpipes helps the marchers count each step and matches them with the beat. For the first time, Coast Guard Sector New York personnel marched in the parade.     The crew of the Katherine Walker, a Bayonne, N.J. based Coast Guard buoy tender, was formally recognized for volunteering 300 hours of time to their local community last year, February 1, 2008. The 24 volunteers and five auxiliary members worked with local community groups on boating safety, oil spill cleanups, and job counseling.
