A Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., MH-60J Jayhawk helicopter crew rescues four people from a disabled sailboat more than 300 miles southeast of New Jersey, Friday, Oct. 31, 2008.

Watchstanders at the Rescue Coordination Center in Portsmouth received a satellite telephone call from the crew of the High Flyer, a 36-foot trimaran, Thursday night, requesting assistance after their vessel's sails and rudder became disabled due to severe weather conditions.

The helicopter crew and an HC-130J Hercules airplane crew were dispatched to the vessels location. While en route the helicopter crew made a short refueling stop aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Spencer, before continuing to the disabled vessel.

The helicopter crew arrived at the vessels location at approximately 8:45 a.m. Friday and hoisted the crew of the High Flyer.
