Coast Guard crews restore Texas waterways

KATY, Texas--Petty Officer 3rd Class Cory Wellnitz, from the Aids to Navigation Team in Mobile Ala., prepares to tie up to a range marker and conduct repairs in  Sabine Pass, Texas Tuesday, Sep. 16, 2008. The ATON crew from Mobile, Ala., conducted repairs along the southeast Texas coast after winds from Hurricane Ike damaged navigational aids along the coast.

KATY, Texas--Coast Guard crewmembers work to reposition a buoy in Sabine Pass, Texas Tuesday, Sep. 16, 2008. Hurricane Ike's heavy winds caused the buoy to float into the navigational channel and the crew worked with a tugboat to tow it back to position.
